Just see the whites of their eyes

I have a issue with my security cameras. I have them on the front of my house and every time a black person walks by when it is dark outside all I can really pick up is white teeth and their eyes. Really cant make out any other features. Is there any way to adjust the cameras?

Need more information. What camera? What is the distance to target? Is this full color at night or B/W with IR? Post a screenshot of your camera settings (e.g. shutter, gain, etc...)
