iVMS issue win7 64

I'm still fighting against iVMS 4200, on win7 64 bit..... :livid:
Latest news ... after having tried a lot of things, uninstalled, manually cleared all, cleared the registry, re-installed, tried older versions.... now here's what happens:
the iVMS-4200 (2.5.0.3) correctly connect to the DS-7600NI-I2/08P, all seems working well, but after a while (could be 5 minutes or 5 hours), if I click on 'Switch to Instant Playback', I see the playback, but as soon as I click on 'Switch to live view' the image freezes, and if I click again on the same command, windows tells me
'iVMS doesn't respond', and I have to close and reopen it.....

While on my old laptop, win7 32 bit, the same software seems working without any issue ...
What could I try ?

Well, revert back the firmware to 3.3.9 ( from 3.4.2) on the NVR, seems (even though I should say this ....softly softly, maybe tomorrow could be different :)) solve the issues, so far, it does exactly what it should, no more hang/freezes of the iVMS (currently 2.5.0.3) on win 7 32/64, as well as on win 10 64 ....... I don't know if I was the only one with those issues with the 3.4.2 .... Maybe those problems will be solved with the 3.4.6 for the NI series .....
Thoughts ?

I can say that the new version of the firmware does work, so far, very well .... (the 'so far' is added only based on experience, since, generally speaking, when things go smoothly, the fw upgrades bring a regression for each two bug fixes, sometime things go even worse ....:))
Tested on win7 32/64 and win10 64
