Is it worth using Dahua firmware on Lorex camera?

I have a bunch of Lorex LN8005-C cameras running Lorex 2.460 firmware. Does the Dahua firmware make them work any better with BI? Threads like this one
Lorex LNB8005B-C and Dahua firmware (Solved with instructions) show it is possible but to what end? What improvements will I see?

Unless there is a particular firmware issue you are seeing ( buggy ), I would probably leave them as is.

Thanks MAT. Only issue I have is H265 does not work very well. Other brand cameras have no problem but none of the Lorex are stable with it. I am not sure if it is a setting problem such as VBR v CBR support or what but it is the only thing that has bugged me about these. Fortunately, I have plenty of storage and bandwidth.
