Is a 2Ghz 8-Core CPU enough for Blue Iris?

Hi guys, I am looking to replace HP Proliant ML310e Xeon power-hogging noise-machine with something quieter. It is running ESXi with a nas4free Linux server and a dedicated Win2k8 R2 server for Blue Iris. Three 5mp cameras. The Nas4Free server is for my home streaming (mild) use. It all works well aside from the fact it makes a dreadful noise and sucks power. It has 5 x 6TB WD Red drives for storage and two Raid-1 512GB SSD drives for the OS's.

So what I am wanting to do is go for a lower-power rig with the Intel Xeon processor D-1540 on this great little board:

What is worrying me is the CPU clock speed - I will drop from a 3.4 Ghz quad-xeon to a 2Ghz 8-way CPU...Is this going to be enough juice for Blue Iris, especially since I plan on adding two more cameras?

You are correct, after further investigation and the discovery of the advantage of "Quick Sync" support I have decided to go another route with a dedicated Core-i7 box
