I've had some issues with two of my Dahua Cameras reverting back to Smart IR. This is causing blooming and extreme washout due to their placement near the soffit. I typically log into the cameras directly and change the IR to manual and set it to low or off. I have an IR illuminator setup in a different location to compensate for the lack of IR in those cameras. When I change the settings, I make sure to save, and the cameras go back to no or low IR. What I can't pinpoint is why, how, or when the IR is getting switched back to Smart IR—these cameras run rock solid with no disconnects or loss of signal.
I've searched the forums for IR revert issues, but I couldn't find any solutions. Am I doing something wrong? Do the cameras need an update? I've been fighting this for a couple of years now. For reference, the cameras reverting are DH-IPC-HDBW5441FN-AS-E2. And yes, I go into each profile and change both camera 1 and 2, and save after each change I make before switching cameras.
