IPV6 questions

My comcast router died in an electrical storm. I got their new box and it's ipv6. I'm trying to get my remote access back through gdmss but I don't know if I can plug it the ipv6 address. I found my ipv4 wan gateway address on the router. Will this address work?

Comcast is running dual-stack routers in most part of the country right now, your new box has both an ipv4 and 6 address. Go to https://www.whatismyip.com/ and see your ipv4 address.
