Iphone app not working after router update

I upgraded firmware in router now i lost the ability to use blue iris app. I was trying to figure out if i needed a port open, was playing in router but still could not get it to work. I was confused on source ip and local ip

Source target - i am inputting my Comcast external ip
Port range - used 81
Local port - 81
Protocol- set to both

Fails port test from open port check tool

I made a new rule set up as follows
service name- blank or http
Source IP- left blank/or used ip address from device accessing
Port range - used 81
Local Ip- is the blue iris pc ip adrdress
Local port - 81
Protocol- set to both

I sat down and read that noob article ,now going to try the vpn on my router . hopefully if goes well!
