Getting the hang of it
I got an EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-ZE via Amazon from the most recent sale. I'm trying to configure it, but there is no UI for the varifocal / zoom. Trying to zoom in BI also doesn't work. This is right out of the box.

It is in the camera GUI, Settings -> Conditions -> Click on Zoom Tab.

Use find/inspect in the video configuration tab and accept what it finds. Enable ONVIF there as well. Make sure PTZ is enabled on the cameras' config in BI, a separate tab in the camera configuration. Remember a varifocal is not a zoom camera and is designed to be set and left at the desired zoom level. The zoom mechanism is not built for constant use.

Great thanks! I want to use the BI app from the attic to dial everything in since using a web interface from a phone is terrible. I plan to set it and then never adjust it.
