Camera mounted under roof. ring looks like its from the camera . Day pictures look good. What is that glowing on the road by the mailbox?

It might help others if you post a picture of how the camera is mounted. I have one of these cameras and I can tell you that even if you have the camera zoomed in all the way it puts out a very wide angle of IR light. I think you are seeing IR reflection from something.
I recently installed a different model Dahua IPC-HDW5231R-Z (2.7mm - 12mm) in a location under an eave. It was about a foot under the eave. At night I could see a reflection of the camera's ring in a fence located across the street from our house. I have had at least 4 other cameras is that exact location with no problem before. I ended up lowering the camera about 8 inches and the ring problem went away.
