IPC-HDW2231R-ZS : recording to sd card does not seem to work

I have installed transcend 32gb sd card on my ip camera and set recording to local but I have nothing in the playback tab on the web ui (also tried smartpss) ....

I have tried formatting the sd card too... I can see the size of the sd card changing but nothing in playback tab:

I left the recording (general/continous) the whole night but still nothing in playback tab :

But my sdcard continues to fill up.

Any clue?

What firmware version in the cam?
Have you tried setting it back to factory defaults and set it up fresh?
Have you confirmed the card works in other devices?

Firmware : 2.640.0000002.0.R
I have tried factory reset.
Yup confirmed the card works on other devices.

I have a 2nd ipc-hdw2231r-zs and used another card... same issue
