I wasn't able to locate much info about this device on here so here's a post.
It is a Dahua based camera that can be picked up with SDcards for about $30.
The model numbers are set by the number in a package IP4MCB1 is the camera itself. IP4MCB2 is a box of two cameras. IP4MCB3 = box of three cameras. IP4MCB4 = box of four cameras.
They stream RTSP.
Ethernet and/or 2.4G wifi. 12v 1amp power supply.
I am able to connect to them with Dahua's ConfgTool and SmartPSS.
I have not been able to connect via http. YMMV on win and mac OSes.
I have not been able to access the stored files remotely using anything other than the Defender app.
These ports are open:
The rtsp stream blanks out to gray a lot. I am not yet sure if it is an issue with the device processing data or a network problem.
If I use config tool to turn on NTP and the camera loses access to the NTP server, the camera's internal time is reset to the manufacture date (?) of 12/31/2019. The camera will not record when in this state.
