A temporary surveillance camera was installed on a light pole in Carlsbad, and it is raising questions among residents.

Typical response, especially from a blue city inhabitant in the article.......the police display caution and any hesitancy, their actions are questioned and criticized...they display proactivity and initiative, they get criticized.
Methinks those in the article with all the questions have way too much time on their hands and need something to keep them busy.
To those interviewed in the article: Just go take care of your own backyard and let the police do their job......while you're minding someone else's business your kids are probably up to no good.
