Yes.Wait.. is the camera itself announcing an audio message when it detects movement?
Yeah. It’s not consistent. We may show up at anytime of day on any given day. I usually pause cameras that we will be moving past during the day (or night) but leaving 3 gate cams on. I can’t remember the camera model numbers. But it has active deterrence. I have 2 of the 4K’s and 2 of the one’s with the strobing led/audio/mic etc. this one IPC-T5241H-AS-PV 3.6mmOh this is the active deterrence camera, that adds another wrinkle.
You can figure out the API to write a command in BI to turn that off or login to each camera and change this. It is backwards, but go to disarming and change it to Enable (that turns it off). Close turns it back on.
Or you can create the schedule here if it is consistent.

I really like the last suggestion. Only because that’s what i’v been doingYeah, pausing them in BI will not turn off the active deterrence from the camera itself. These are your options:
- Go into each camera and use the disarm function in the camera gui
- Export the audio sound you want from the camera and turn it off in the camera and instead have BI send the audio to the camera when it is triggered - that way if you pause the triggers in BI it will not send the audio. This would work well with geofence
- Set up a command in BI to send the following commands based on a trigger you use to arm or disarm:
- Play audio
ON:
OFF:
- Turn off active deterrence during the typical hours work would be done around that area.
- Unplug the cameras LOL
