importing V3 settings into V4

Welcome to the forum. I dont believe you can import the v3 reg directly to v4...the proper method is to leave v3 installed, then install v4...it will pull the settings..then if you choose to uninstall v3 make sure you dont remove the settings when it asks you.
It was easier then I thought. Just saved the V3 settings to a thumb drive, copied the file to the desktop of the new machine with V4 installed, double clicked on the file, selected yes to import, and in 10 seconds the registry was updated. Opened V4 and everything was there. Keeping V3 as a backup.
