Does anyone have current information on import taxes for purchase made from overseas. Many have purchased from empiretecandy and I was curious if you incurred additional expenses/taxes after the purchase. Has the dollar limit changed from the $800.00 I read on the site? This info is for US residents only.

Your best bet is to break up the transactions into smaller amounts if import tax is a concern. If the total amount exceeds $800, break up the invoices into two halves; then no need to worry about import tax.
