Implementing HD-TVI recording with IP NVR

Hi all,

I've currently got a legacy system which has one or two 'problem' camera's which are inaccessible with regards to wiring Cat5e.

Is it possible to buy a DVR such as the HikVision DS-7204HUHI-K1, then be able to configure a normal IP NVR to view and record the channels contained in the DVR? Effectively, the DVR would act as a 'converting' box.

I know this can be done with a Dahua NVR. You just add the Public IP address and channel number to your local NVR. Never tried this with a Hik NVR
