So I decided to make use of my ssd it not big looking at some 2tb ones now. But I opted to relocate my dB, alerts and new locations to a new locations with a size and time limit for alerts and new then the move the files to the longterm storage.
I thought simply deleting the dB folder would be all I needed to do but I noticed now the secondary locations are missing data when I select them from with ui3. I wanted to ensure the data was available as expected. So it made me wonder what I need to do to get that data back into bi.
This data was the original data in the new and alerts location. I moved new to stored and alerts to aux1 and then repointed alerts and new to the ssd location with he revised size and time limits etc. I assume the dB rebuild is complete its been 12 hours since I deleted it and resrarred the service.
