If a (Dahua) cam SD card or NVR gets stolen, how secure is the footage?

Don't take this personal, but I decided to honor this advice as much as I can:
There is a difference between the folks here that have no idea your name, or even if you are really in Europe and the Uber driver taking you to the airport and you telling them you are going to be gone for two weeks....

Is it just me but should this whole discussion be based around whether the cameras are located inside a residence or external to the residence. If external, who gives a shit if the SD cards are stolen; of what value could they be to undesirables. Yes, there is a nuisance factor but all this talk about encryption, pleaseeeeeeee. :smash:

I say for internal cameras, leave them as they are because if changed, we'll no longer have access to sex tapes, is that what you really want. :)
