Context:
Recently moved into a home with existing eyeonet NVR + 6 IP Camera setup. After paying an installer to contact ameta and help me get into the NVR due to lack of admin password, I realized that I cannot actually edit or change any camera settings.
What I am trying to do, given that the current NVR is pretty old and dated, is use a newer Dahua NVR that I purchased from Aliexpress to replace the current one.
Issues I am facing:
-When I plug everything into the new Dahua NVR, no camera can be detected. Nothing shows up even for me to initialize. The Dahua config tool cannot detect anything camera, just the NVR.
-In the current eyeonet NVR. I cannot edit any camera setting in NVR. Everything is greyed out regardless of whether or not I try to access it from the NVR's monitor or web client. The installer told me what he would do is try to somehow edit the IP of the camera to a default IP address that would be detected by the Dahua NVR, I think he mentioned to use 1.1.1.100?
-Tried to access the camera via a browser, no luck either.
Any help or what I can do here?
