I have four IPC-Color4M-T cameras from EmpireTech. I've had them for a little over a week and they seem to be very impressive. However, I've noticed more noise in the nighttime images this evening and wonder if it is tied to the high humidity. There were several thunderstorms in the late afternoon and tonight there seems to be a bigger glow around car lights and speckles around moving objects. Could that be due to the moisture in the air?

First photo is a couple of nights ago at 9:00pm. Second photo is about the same time this evening. Maybe its just my imagination?

I picked 3 spots on both all the same. Pot close by on step, 1st porch light across street, grass/plants left center.

The biggest difference is the plants are all laid down from moisture

I'm not noticing it either. Typically increased noise would be seen in the dark areas such as the black paving slabs, black cars, dark doorways. They all look pretty much the same to me. As Big Red said, you will see the water droplets on plants if there's humidity which may give the appearance of grain. However, the areas you'd typically see noise grain are no worse than the 1st picture in my opinion.
