Hi all, just joined.​

I was wondering if anyone knows of a IP CCTV Camera that can read the temperature of the room, we have been asked to record a smelting crucible which has temperatures up to 1600 Deg C.
Or
A Camera that has an HTTP API that I can "Post" / "Get" an XML value to and display the temperature on the overlay.
I seen a post a long time ago about this camera that may be able to do this but not sure.

Why not get cheaper camera and sensor, then just little api service fetching sensor data and doing put request toward camera osd overlay every x interval
