How to update W-NVR5208-8P with 2.610 firmware?

I saw the latest firmware posted but I assume I can't make such a massive update in one step.
A tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a older NVR5208-8P from 2016 and considering updating firmware but recently NVR has been losing password & system info on reboots. I’m thinking maybe the internal system coin battery needs replaced but not sure. Have you replaced your battery? Thanks!
 
No, I wasn't even aware there was an internal battery. I might just get an updated NVR due to this ones age and other issues will prob crop up.
