how to make 'daily' recordings from multiple cameras

I am helping a friend setup video and audio monitoring of their home with 3 cameras.

what I 'think' we want to do is to save the data for each 'day', to help with later viewing/searching and data size maintenance..
record to a local (5TB) disk, then stage those to offline (cloud storage) daily, and erase from local weekly, and cloud after 6 months.. rolling day by day.

I don't have the cameras in hand yet, and just installed BI.

is there any mechanism to do this, do I need to write a script to stop recording, and start with new files daily?

ok, under settings, clips I see that I can set a limit of time or size, and the saved clips can be moved somewhere.. I think that is everything., not camera selective..

they have google drive, which gives them 15gig of free storage.. so I will just write a script to move the files in 'stored' to the google drive folder. (record will be to local disk for speed). I have 50mb upload speed, they only have 6 mb.
