How to install turret on this?

So this is the underside of my porch, where I plan to put a turret camera. It’s vinyl siding. What suggestions would you guys have or have you done an install like this before?

Mount camera to a piece of sheet aluminum/metal cut to fit in the corner and silicone ( if you don’t want to use screws) or screw it in place. Can paint to match. Easy to move if you don’t like placement.
