How to get activex to work? Tried IE, Mozilla

Bought and received one of these.

HI3518E processory, quite nice picture, sturdy construction (all metal), and most importantly has an 'auto snap' feature where it will take a snapshot and ftp to a website every XX seconds (settable).

I have it up and running in the house to test and so far so good other than I cannot watch the live video stream except if I click on the 'mobile view' or run iSpy or BI. Whenever I click on 'PC view' I get an error about activex not working.

- I've loaded the activex plugin that the camera hosts
- I've enabled activex settings in IE per all the websites that said to try that.

Still no go.

What am I doing wrong?

try running ie in compatibility mode and lowering the security for that ip (in ie security settings).

Compatibility mode was the key! Thanks! Odd that my iPhone worked fine but had the dickens trying to get my windows pc's to work.
