I can access my NVR web GUI remotely via OpenVPN on my TP Link modem at home and OpenVPN on my laptop (and MS Edge) when I'm away from home. I can view live footage and playback videos but I cannot see how to get a copy of a video clip. So for example, If I'm away from home, use my laptop to login to the NVR web GUI as above and see something on my NVR playback that I'd like to save to my laptop for later use then how do I do it? Ideally I'd backup the video clip to a USB stick on my laptop.
(While home and with direct access to the NVR I can backup a video clip to a USB stick I connect to the NVR. That's easy enough.)
