How do I maximize night motion sensitivity?

I have an indoor hikvision that I use as a Pir to trigger scene in vera. Works fine when lights are one but I have to get right in front of the camera at night for it to work. How do I maximize out the night sensitivity?

To clarify are you using the PIR sensor in a 2432 cube?
 
No, I'm using it AS a PIR via a script.

I want to set BI sensitivity so that it can detect the slightest movement at night
 
Cool ill try that... i also saw a contrast setting, is there any relation to night sensitivities?

When you create a Hotspot the sensitivity is automatically at the highest... But yes reducing the contrast setting will increase sensitivity when not using Hotspot .
