how can i connect to this camera via my Amcrest NVR or computer via VLC?

i got this camera works as advertised but it requires another stupid app. i much rather prefer using my existing Amcrest NVR's app.
using an ONVIF sniffing program, this is what i get:

the program has no problem seeing Live View.
but my Amcrest NVR refuses to work with it when i filled in as seen here:

in VLC, i tried opening these network stream but none work
rtsp:/admin:pw@192.168.1.20:8554
rtsp:/admin:pw@192.168.1.20:8554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&authbasic=64

According to your screenshot of ODM, try changing username in VLC URL from "admin" to "WeEye".
Too many cams that claim ONVIF compatibility are not.
Also, how did you discover what the camera's IP address is?

i use this Win10 program ONVIF Device Manager
it found all my ONVIF cams and IPs automatically.
it lets me view the cam's live view as seen here

but VLC and NVR still cannot. i have tried user id of "WeEye" too. no luck.
 
happy to say i got it working now with my NVR as seen here

still no go on VLC and that's fine.
also got it working with HomeAssistant but only to view. no way to get noise nor PIR alerts
 
I also use ODM.
When you click on "Live Video", down at bottom right of screen there should be a RTSP URL that should work in VLC.

any idea on how i can get a jpg snapshot from the camera?
usually i get snapshots from my NVR that is connected to the cameras. however, when i tried the same thing with this camera, it refuses to work.
192.168.1.90 is the NVR's ip. channel is the camera that's connected.
