The Swamp
Got a request from the HOA at my old hood. I still manage their cameras, mostly because it gives me a nice test site and they let me do what I want on their dime!

Anyway, request was as follows:
Please look up on Monday, May 19th, around 1pm, a black SUV entering the community behind a Red Hyundai Tucson. (homeowner) is requesting this as she believes that the SUV was following her and she needs the information

So I go take a looksee
There's the homeowner vehicle, there's the Black SUV, but its coming from a different direction and 37 seconds later. Probably a paranoid woman...

Lets look closer just to be sure (note to those who only record event triggers- you're missing shit and you don't even know it)

Now lets look at her in her driveway. (Sorry, the new PTZ5A4M-25X is not setup to follow vehicles, but I see what I need to see)
She backs out as if to confront the guy and he does a u-turn and bugs out

*Smart Lady staying in her vehicle and backing out to confront him.
Looks like it could be LE to me

Wonder if some sort of road rage, come back later sort of thing or was it follow from the store or bank for later?

Definitely a vanity plate. I do not think it is an official vehicle.

The plate is a 'Special Interest' plate, Sheriffs Assocation. It is his personal car. It does come back to a 2018 Chevy Traverse Premier 3.6L V6. Wonder what FI18B means?

Looks to me that he wanted to know where she lived. Also, possible that the car was stolen and being used in jugging?

Some people use creative mix of letters and numbers to spell something. Just thought it might be meaningful. Here in TX you can get the plate with your requested entries if it is available. That costs more than if you request the DMV to assign you a number.

Yeah I tried sounding it out any number of ways for 5 minutes and came up with zip. Some people are very creative and it can be an entertaining exercise to decipher some. I'll bet the DMV's are leaning toward AI to help determine if some vanity applications need to be rejected due being offensive, yada yada, blah blah, etc.

Yesterday saw one on a nice Vette: GRUMPI1

Might be ICE/HSI and FI could be for Feild Investigator or Federal Investigator? Seeing the Window Tint FL Chapter 493 don't apply to LE or FI and other GOV leased vehicles? Just a guess.. Also I think it might be 2019 to 2023 in year with different later 2023 for 2024 that has a different back passenger window that isn't shaped the same as the one in the picture so could be for sure LEO of some sort..

edit However everyone saying they did a check in a Plate database so 2018 it must be unless it was not updated to the new unit after an accident? However another give away is that 2019 they offered a Blackout option and that was not in the 2018 so it might be a 2018 that was sold in 2018 but for the 2019 model year seeing it does have Black out option on the unit in picture that is the black bowties and other things that are on the vehicle
