I've spent several hours trying to make this work to no avail. I can see an MQTT message coming into the HA broker, but the &TYPE is ONVIF. I've tried hardcoding it to MOTION and EXTERNAL as I've seen referenced but that doesn't do anything.
At this point, I don't know where to go or what to do. It seems the Blue Iris HACS integration simply doesn't want to change the binary sensors from the MQTT messages and I don't know why. It seems certain that BI is setup correctly as I am using MQTT explorer logged into the HA MQTT broker and seeing the messages appear.
Has anyone run into this?
