Hikvision WIfi Camera buying advice

I need to buy some Hikvision Chinese cameras (because of the lower price).

I need these camera features:

- 3MP
- MicroSD recording
- mic and speaker
- dome
- vari-focus
- POE
- Wifi (I need this feature not for security reasons)
- for outdoor use

Could someone please give me some advice for the model that I should buy?

WIFI > More frustration > How much is aggravation and frustration worth? > Isn't your life complicated enough? > Go wired and have an easier time of it
 
You will not find any model dome/outdoors with mic and speaker. You do have a model with integrated mic (2CD25xx), but most will just have audio in/out connectors, so you can connect mic/speaker yourself.

That one you are linking is not varifocal, it does have the other features.
 
just forget combining WiFi + Audio with Hikvision

all Hikvision cameras I have tested (9 pcs, few different models) have AUDIO HARDWARE ISSUE
Microphone cable is not shielded properly, so it is picking up noise from WiFi / WLAN chip

for example on these models:
DS-2CD2542FWD-IWS
DS-2CD2432F-IW

I have written to Hikvision support numerous times, they have confirmed the issue, they won't fix the cameras, because they should recall all cameras with MICs !!!!

the only way to stop this, is to logon to SSH and do ifconfig wlan0 down however after reboot audio issue is back, because wlan0 is being active even it is NOT in use
enabling or disabling Environment Noise reduction (in Hikvision FW - Web UI - Audio settings) doesn't help at all

did you used DS-2CD2432F-IW (wireless model) explicitly, if it doesn't have wireless you won't notice this bug / flaw

increase volume to 100% and test it in silent environment, it is hardware design flaw, so I think all models with microphones are affected
