Just read a story on mitigated technology review saying hikvision may be put on us sdn list, thus banning other country's from doing bussiness with hikvison. It states u.s has already started briefing other countries on its plans for hikvision.

Whether the US does this remains to be seen. To be clear, it would, if enacted, not ban "other country's" but US citizens/entities from doing business with Hikvision. It might impact other countries though depending on how it was implemented if it was done.
