Hikvision PTZ with SD card slot

I'm after a Hikvision PTZ camera and have been looking at the DS-2DE5432IW-AE(S5) model as this looks like it does everything I need apart from having an sd card slot.

Are there any similar models that have this feature as I want to use it without an nvr for now.

Also, if I do get an NVR do these plug directly into an nvr and get their power from there?

That camera does have an SD card slot.

If you are not set on HIK, this Dahua OEM is probably the best sub 800 PTZ that has autotrack and an SD card:


The HIK you are looking at is a 4MP on a 1/2.8" sensor and a 2MP like this on the same size sensor will perform better at night. The 4MP on the same sensor as a 2MP will need double the light of the 2MP.

They do have a 4MP version also if you really want the 4MP. I have both and the 2MP is way better at night.

This can work without an NVR. If the NVR can power it once you get one will depend on the specs of the NVR. Many of them can.
