Hikvision PTZ reflection problem

Good afternoon. I recently installed a hikvision 4 megapixel outdoor PTZ camera to work with my hikvision nvr.

The daytime quality is fantastic, but at night, it appears that the infrared light is reflecting an image of the camera in the dome itself. I will attach a photo for reference, but it really degrades the quality of the night time image. Anyone seen this before?

I am afraid to say, some dome models had factory design faults(It was allowed to be the reason for RMA process). Sadly for non-pt cameras you had an easy fix to pull out sponge a bit around lens and then press it back with plastic cover. I dont think this solution works for PTZ

Buy an external IR reflector(there are really cheap ones) and disable night time mode in camera.

ps: ivms4500 is going to be EOL, meaning no more support or updates for it. Switch to Hik-connect app

Thanks for the reply - I've been meaning to try out a good IR flood light. I will give it a shot
