hi all I have added a Qnap NAS ts231 to my network. I have gone into the we browser interface of the Nvr locally and searched for the NAS, which it picked up fine. It also found the shared folder, after which I selected it and saved it.
now when I go to hdd management, where it lists hdd it listed the one attatched to my NAS. Only issue is its check box is greyed out. And it said offline.
I logged in locally to the Nvr via a monitor and tried that way. It picked up the NAS and share fine, it also listed the hdd as NAS storage, when I tried initiating it the status turned abnormal.
is there anything I'm doing wrong?miv been trying for the past few days and seem to hit a brick wall.
