Hikvision NVR and Revo cameras

i have a prospective buyer for a Hikvision DS-7716NI-SP/16 who has Revo cameras purchased from a big box store. Assuming these are IP does anyone know if they will work with the Hikvision NVR?

Revo cams do ONVIF so the NVR should be able to see them and record them. Motion detection might be problem, depending on which version of ONVIF they've got. Earlier versions don't support motion alerts and a quick Googling didn't tell me. So, the answer is both yes and maybe.
