I have a HikVision mini dome (2542 US version) that has line alerts setup that constantly stop working. I've had the camera for 2+ years (purchased from a reputable US seller) - the line alerts will work for several months, and then just stop (the camera and recording continue to work fine).
In order to get the line alerts working again i usually have to go into the camera and disable/re-enable line alerts and sometimes re-configure the line alert drawing (a simple reboot usually does not work).
I'm suspicious that Synology Surveillance station updates/reboots are messing with my camera settings. I've tried using a non-administrator hikvision user to connect to my cameras to Surveillance station however they can't be activated on Synology without admin permissions.
