Hikvision IVM-4500 on Iphone/Ipad

I have no audio coming from the camera's when using the app. If i log into the web gui on the nvr and live view the cameras from IE audio is there and working. Also the recordings are all there with audio.

Any suggestions?

Might be obvious, but did you click the headphone looking icon? Has to be clicked to hear.

Your device settings for the app has to have the mic and audio accepted so that the app can playback sound and receive the audio from your app.
 
This ended up being the substream that the app pulls from didn't save the settings for video and audio. You would have audio in HD but picture would be screwy, main stream.
The substream is the default capture on either Hik-connect app or IVMS app.

Thought I would share what I found.
