Hikvision DS-7616N-E2/8P firmware question

Hi all, have a Hikvision DS-7616N-E2/8P from Aliexpress that works great except that it's never sent photos out with alert notification emails. It has firmware v3.3.2 build 150522. I've heard that newer firmware fixes this photos sending issue. Can anyone confirm this? If so, where best is it to obtain the firmware update?
Lastly, does the firmware update change existing settings? ie will they need to be redone, or just updates the underlying firmware?

@LewisO I have the 7608N and am on the latest firmware. the picture sending is not resolved, it sends for just a few times depending on how many triggers you have and then sends the email without picture. I have raised this with their support and provided all info. sounds like they have to look into this for the next release whenever that may be.
