HIKVISION DS 2CD2132F_IWS Problem "Language Chinese" firmware 5.2.5

Hello,


I have a 2132F-IWS camera. Apparently, it would be Chinese. (CCH serial number). Yet when I was in version 5.2.5, I had access to the multilingual menu including French I want to get.
It is connected by POE.


I wanted to update its firmware 5.3 and was not recognized by SADP, the interace web and TFTP. So I did a reset on the camera and she moved to 4.0.8 firmware.


I then managed to inject another 5.3 to 5.2.5 firmware with TFTP.


Now it works but I have Chinese and I can not change the language from the interface of my browser.


How do I find all languages as before?
Would be in French.


If not, why can you not update to 5.3, while the site is notified of Hikvision Compatible?

TFTP server is started but gets stuck on "192.0.0.128" initialized.
I sent a ping 192.0.0.64, it works.


What to do?

Edit:I managed to update via TFTP server but now I do not get the web interface. Ping works on 192.0.0.64


What's happening ?

EDIT : After a few reboot of the camera, I got to go to the web interface but still in Chinese :-(

If it's still in Chinese you probably are still on 5.3.0

Try again. Make sure you start TFTP before connecting and turning on camera.

I had the same issue. Try rebooting camera and then try SADP

The camera had a different hacked firmware supplied by your reseller, the first thing you could do is ask them if they can supply it to you.

Or you could do the mtd hack to Change the camera to English.

Without starting a new thread I am trying to figure out what the problem is with 5.2.5 if I get one and can access the English version there another issue? I want to order one of these and see the 5.3.0 issue and will stay away from them it seems but if I can buy a 5.2.5 am I going to be OK? I don't know why I need to update firmware if it works for my needs. I honestly don't care if the audio works or not. I just want the sadp tool to be in English. Is there a primer I don't see explaining the versions and which ones are OK and which ones are taboo?

The best thing is not to have version 5.25 or 5.28 if you plan on ever upgrading the firmware as you can't.
Having 5.30 camera means you can downgrade to version 5.25 and then later on upgrade to what ever as more fixes come along.

I have another camera (the same) with a multilanguage firmware. Can I use this to inject firmware on my other camera? If so, how?

Once, your on 5.25 just replace your IEfile with the one from your multi language camera.
