Hikvision 7604 email steup problem

I got everything up and going on the NVR,except the email settings. I have tried two different accounts and they both fail the test email submission.I know that the server and passwords are right because I logged in on my webpage with both using the same passwords.What am I missing?

"Failed to send test email,please check the parameters or network status"

take a photo of the network and email setup tabs...something is probably set wrong.

Im not at home at the moment to take a picture,but here's the settings I used for the gmail account.

User Name xxxxxxxx@gmail.com
Password xxxxxxxx
Smtp Server smtp.gmail.com
Smtp port 465
Enable SSL Yes
Sender My name
Senders address same as user name
Select receivers Receiver 1
Receiver same as user name
Receivers address same as user name
enable attached pictures Yes
interval 5s

in the network settings page make sure you have googles dns info for the primary dns 8.8.8.8

No, problem...I had that issue on a hikvision camera and it drove me nuts until i realized how simple it was...
