Not sure if there is a way but I have a couple EZVIZ cameras, Type- CS-CV246-A0-1C2WFR & CS-CV246-B0-3B2WFR-KJDS (basically the exact same cameras) They both have PT control from within the EZVIZ app and have the ability to to auto track, there is no way to set presets that I can find. They are set up in BI under Generic/ONVIF as EZVIZ is not an option. I have tried to get PTZ control from inside BI but had no luck, does anyone know a way to accomplish this? TIA.

Same issue here but with Ezviz C3WN. I wanted to increase contrast and brightness for night but the settings had no effect on the images in BI.

I just got a new off brand PTZ I'm testing for a job so here are the things I learned.
1 the find inspect needs to discover your PTZ options see attached pic
2 the presets need set inside the camera first then you set them in BI. BI just tells the camera to go to preset x mine is like this z_ovf_ptz_05
3 download onvif device manager ODM and see if you can control the camera from that software it will give you clues to make you cam work in BI
4 my camera came with instructions that have a list of call presets so like z_ovf_ptz_83 is force day mode.

Good luck PTZ's can be a pain i just worked on one for about a month to get it working correctly.
I can say the Amcrest PTZ IP2M-841B-V3 i have worked perfect the first time and I can control everything in BI. If it says that is supports ONVIF then it should just work but it did not for me.

Your correct on all accounts- My issue is EZVIZ does not allow you or there is no way in their GUI to set the presets, not with the PTZ cameras I have, these are indoor cameras maybe for the outdoor ones that would work, not sure. I also have some Reolink cameras and I did what you were talking about and these will work. The EZVIZ cameras are just locked down is the issue and no one has took the time to (that I can find) either write some new software or whatever you need to do (I'm clueless) Kinda sad because even though they may be Chinese cheapy's they actually are really solid cameras.

Discovered the Ezviz studio desktop for windows. You have advanced settings after changing the config file line in program files.
Contrast/Brightness/WDR etc etc.

Coming a couple of years late to this thread but for info - I have the same problem with EZVIZ PT cameras. To get them to work with BI5 PT controls I used the Generic /ONVIF PT protocols. The latest firmware says it is ONVIF compatible and it is for PT control but STILL not for Preset Position Commands from BI5. I have reported the issue to EZVIZ .........

In the mean time did anyone else find a Preset position solution to allow BI5 to command preset position changes for EZVIZ units ? Thanks

I never did get it figured out and if I need to do any PTZ stuff I just use the app. It would be great if this would get fixed. I need to replace some cameras and would like to stay with EZIZ but will probably move to another maker that I can actually use fully inside of BI.

Thanks - If EZVIZ get back to me ( They have been very responsive on other issues) I'll post here !

After some investigation both with EZVIZ and Ken of BI - the conclusion is that Blue Iris CANNOT manage Preset positions set by the mobile APP standard with EZVIZ PT cameras. The presets created by the App software WILL NOT LOAD into BI. BEWARE IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT EZVIZ Cameras with BI

Some good news for EZVIZ H8C cameras (and maybe others)

The latest firmware Version 5.3.8 Build 240430 resolves the failure of BI5 to access preset positions set by the phone app for this camera.

Also pls be sure that the PTZ controls for the camera are managed by HTTP port 80. If you dont select that option you wont get any result.

Wit this firmware installed you can preset positions using the phone app and then without an further action within BI5 you can select those same positions in successive order (preset position 1 , 2, 3 etc. ) as that on the phone in any BI5 camera viewing display.

A response from the manufacturer I think ! well done EZVIZ !

EZVIZ Camera Model number H8 does not presently have a new firmware upgrade available yet - I hope this will happen as I have those cameras as well with the same problem !!
