Help with Lorex Wireless cam app viewing outside of home network

Hello,

hoping someone can provide some insight.

I have a lorex 5 cam WiFi system.

everything works perfectly except when I am outside of my home network I cannot view my cameras on the app.

Anyone who can provide some insight would be greatly appreciated.
 
It's most likely because you haven't open ports on your router to allow the traffic inbound. That's a bad idea anyway, look at the wiki article on setting up a VPN to view your cameras remotely.
