Hi,
I have 9 Hikvision IP cameras and I'm looking to get a Hikvision branded NVR. I would like to have some room for expansion so I'm looking at 16 camera NVRs.
My current cameras:
1x 2.8mm Dome DS-2CD2185FWD-I
1x 4mm Dome DS-2CD2185FWD-I
1x 4mm Dome with Audio DS-2CD2185FWD-IS (Front door)
6x 4mm Turret DS-2CD2385FWD-I
My main uses are for live viewing in and around the house as a nanny cameras to help keep track of the kids.
I was planning on ordering a DS-7600NI-Q2/16P. It's the latest NVR in the Hikvision Easy IP 3.0 series. All the cameras I have are also of the Easy IP 3.0 series. They are back in stock and I could order one today.
I new see there is a Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S from the new Easy IP 4.0 series. The NVR has significantly higher outgoing bandwidth and a supposedly better user interface. The new Easy IP doesn't appear to be available in the supply chain yet.
Should I order the currently available NVR that matches my cameras series or wait a couple months for the new Easy IP 4.0?
Thanks, I appreciate the advice.
