Just wanted to say hello from the country that just won the Eurovision song festival
Although I’m new to the ip camera world I’ve already learned a lot by reading the cliff notes and other forum threads. Very interesting.
I would like to build a 3-4 ip-cam setup that is connected to my Synology NAS and uses Synology Surveillance Station. Some of the questions I’m still trying to answer are; which cameramodel should I choose (starlight yes/no or just a bit more megapixels with a good IR) and if I should reserve a bay in my NAS with a non-raid purple surveillance disk or just add another NAS disk and make it part of my RAID5 array. I suppose, if part of the RAID5, it could have impact on other tasks the NAS does. For example, streaming media and sharing files.
