Hi all I have a hikvision 7608ni-e2/8p it's connected to a router, a NAS box is connected to the router as well. The NVR records to the nas box which works fine.
Now I am trying to add a small size hdd to the NVR internally. I need it to be able to record to the nas box normally and also the internal hdd in the NVR at the same time. The reason why I'm trying to do this is because just in case the router fails at least it can record to the internal drive eliminating a single point of failure.
would it be easy as adding the drive and setting the internal drive as redundancy?
