Hi Andy and everyone,

I have just noticed on my pi-hole that when I enable P2P ...my camera keep DNS requesting "easy4ipcloud" like crazy ...around 24,000 times per hour. (After I disable P2P on such cam , everything is back to normal)

My other Dahua cams never have this issue.

Maybe, it will be fixed after next firmware update.

Likely because you have that domain blocked. It can't get there so it continues to try to make an initial connection. I've seen similar behavior with other cams.

Why not just leave P2P turned off? You must not be using it since you have it blocked. And/or block the cam at your router/firewall so it can't get out anywhere.

How do you check if your cameras are calling home?

You should never enable P2P, it's a security risk.
