H264, H264+, H265?

H264, H264+, H265?

Cam is Hikvision: DS-2CD2035FWD-I

1)
What to use: Main or High Profile?
Have read about it but can see any diff, bitrate is about the same.

2)
What to choice for my CPU:
H264, H264+, H265?

From the data the cpu can handle this:
i5-6500
h265 / HEVC (8 bit): Decode / Encode
h265 / HEVC (10 bit): Decode ONLY
h264: Decode / Encode

So at the moment i use H264, and the main profile. And BI set to INTEL.

Suggestion?

BI doesn't usually like any of the codec like + or H, etc. So go either H264 or H265 and then smart codec off.

Most of us have found that H264 produces a better image and the storage savings of H265 in real world are not what they advertise. I literally had a few minute difference in storage differences between the two.
