Has ipcamtalk asked BI for possible affiliate enabled discounts for members. Many companies jump at the option of allowing such opportunities that can increase sales of their products as well as decrease the tech requests with forum members handling issues they might have with their software. Companies are starting to realize most of their sales come from forums just like here.
An automotive forum I help moderate for has RockAuto as an affiliate and gives us discount codes. RockAuto is a huge auto parts location and shipping company site on the internet and were more then happy to allow us to carry cost discount codes. There only request was that we placed a small post anywhere within the forum describing their information with a link. This was not an ad post either, just a regular type post that a forum member might make.
