Saw this on Fakebook--- any thoughts on this? I guess it would raise MY suspicions a bit.... would be interesting to have a network traffic analyzer going while you plugged it in...

Just because it doesn't look like a USB drive doesn't mean that it really isn't. There is more than enough space in the USB connector to add some memory.

It's possible, but more likely just sent to the wrong address. There are also ways you could likely test it. It's more likely to simply melt / catch fire.
I've experimented with proof-of-concepts of devices like what's shown in the video.

Looks far to small and junky to be any kind of legit attack, also I highly suspect the person posting has no reason to be the target of such an attack

We were victims of the Amazon brushing scam for about 6 months. Got various free junk products from Amazon sellers. We were never charged for any of the items. Eventually, the free junk stopped arriving.
